Not surprised. He's an abusive, volatile human being with severe mental/anger issues that might not have been properly treated (like getting therapy). Resorting to drinking and drugs makes sense for someone who has not dealt with their repressed issues. You would think his child would be enough for him to turn his life around. It's sad when you think about it.

What planet do you live on? Lean has been being used recreationally for like....ever now. ESPECIALLY in the music industry/hip hop community. I can't think of but like 2 rappers who I don't recall sipping lean at some point or another.
