OP is right but this whole "cultural appropriation" thing is getting out of hand, like most of it doesn't even bother the people who are from the actual culture yet all of them tumblr blogs be freaking out about it

I agree completely. This thread was made to hold everyone to the same standard and expose everyone's "problematic" behaviours. SJW are very hypocritical and self-righteous.

Their hearts are in the right place, but the execution is troublesome. All of us should be able to find a balance between appropriation and appreciation as well as being able to recognize when something is legitimately offensive.

I'll find the article later but there was a very well written piece about how cultural appropriation is more of an issue amongst millennials; and that older folks are generally "thankful" that their cultures are becoming more widely represented and appreciated because of globalization.

This should've been the end of the thread.
