The Black Keys have been left alone for a little while but they're back for some punches before the top fifty. Apparently 10 Cent Pistol isn't about a pistol at all, but it is in fact "this low-rent, heinous substance that disfigures you, like homemade napalm." The more you know. In the song, a woman takes revenge on her cheating husband and his mistress by throwing this substance at their faces. Disfigure ha!

The Black Keys have now lost over half their tracks with the elimination of the final song on Brothers. Ironically "These Days" was the first song recorded for the album and the world-weary sound of the closer was influenced by the fact that it was written when the duo were tired after touring.
