The sixth track on Treats finds Sleigh Bells diverging from the overall sound of the album, as the song is quieter and shoegaze influenced, replacing the typical loud guitars with chopped up synths. The song has a claustrophobic atmosphere and seems to be about a bad trip or a nightmare.
Best bit: The eerie production. Best lyrics: "Rachel please, please stay here with me" (Lyrics aren't their strong point, don't @ me!)
sleigh bells confirmed for the angel olsen of this rate
i accidentally listened to that demi lovato song with the stolen sleigh bells beat and i can't stop thinking abt demi lovato every time i try to listen to treats now
I totally didn't include this because the songs on the album blend together so much that I didn't realise it was an interlude, it' is a very special interlude. The song was nominated for Best Rock Instrumental, it didn't win but still, when will our faves?
The first song out from Brothers should've definitely been Sinister kid.
Don't really remember that Sleigh Bells song too well, as my score reflects it is forgettable to me
Black Mud is a great instrumental but it is "just" an instrumental so this is ok I guess.
