As a bi man, both gay men and straight females have been disgustingly rude about my bisexuality. My ex girlfriend actually dumped me just off the basis that she didn't know that I was bisexual. Going as far as making fun of the fact that "a penis has been in most parts of your body".
Gay men have also been very dismissive though and always assume that I am a gay man hiding behind the guise of bisexual. And if not they also automatically assume that you are masculine, a top, dominant etc. It's really digsutimg.
Plus, the question of do you like girls or guys more is always like the first thing people ask after I tell them. I'm only out to less than 10 people, but honestly I doubt I will ever be public with my bisexuality due to things like this. I wish I was a heterosexual or homosexual but I simply aren't.
