I hate it when people say, "she should scrap it and move on to R9". First of all, anything she'll release next will be referred to as R8, so what the hell are you talking about.

Second of all, for the first time it feels like it is important to her what she releases, when she puts it out, how she puts it out. It seems like, and this is not supposed to have a negative connotation to it, she really put a lot of time and energy into this. Her body of work.

The music (+snippets) we have heard so far is different from what we are used to from Rihanna. Whether she has huge hits or not. She should stick to this and she will i guess. At least i hope so, cause i am really curious about the album sje has worked on for so long

I love me some Rih, but she's been falling flat since R8. I think she's lost touch with her own music. Hate to say it, but she's in the path of Britney's music career if she continues with the bad music. She can't worry about what other artists are releasing especially Adele.

I guess people finally want a cohesive album from Rihanna. THe more tracks it contains, the easier for it not to feel cohesive.

Chose the best 15 tracks that really fit the theme well. Make a Deluxe with 3 more and that's it.

She probably thinks she's building the brand of the album and anticipation, probably. I can't imagine she would think she's finished with her album enough to release singles, snippets, artwork, a title, and whatever as many times as she has, unless she's scrapped the album a bazillion times.
