Rick Nowels?

What do you guys feel about a head to head kind of rate. Instead of albums, but two similar artists go head to head rating their singles or essentials. Like Bey vs. Rih discography/Britney vs. Xtina essentials rate or something to that effect. I think that would bring out the stans and be pretty popular. Also think it'd be super funny to see tracks like Umbrella or BOMT to be ousted in low 70s.

Has Ed's debut or second album been used yet?

I was lowkey wondering this too. Mainly because I thought "Soulful Ginger Brits Debut's" would be a fun theme for a rate with his, Paloma's, Florence's, and Jess Glynne's debuts.

I like Indie Pop 2015, but replacing The Fool or Cry Baby w/ Alessia

You know, 2011 was a very weird year in British pop. I was THINKING of splitting up our THIS WAS POP: 2011 into three editions:

1) The Blockbusters - Plus, Who You Are and Up All Night

2) The traditional "flops" - Killer Love, Revolution, and All Fired Up

3) The Katy B/James Blake/Jamie Woon rate that STILL has not been done!

What's the deal with this one? Who is supposed to host? I like two of those albums so I think it would be a really interesting rate. I wouldn't mind hosting.

By the way when do you want me to do that Ultimate Female Fronted Bands rate we talked about? I could potentially have something up on Sunday.

I thought about hosting that one, but wanted to add one more and couldn't figure out who (between SBTRKT and Alex Clare, though now I would have just done a part 2 and found one more person for it).

Mess. It's good but I wouldn't put it past the 30s/40s.

I'm here for both Florence and Ellie discography rates. We'd probably need more time for the Ellie one though, considering Delirium just came out and we all need time to digest it.
