Are you saying that "Gimme More" peaked at #16? What the Should've been higher.
Yes, it did peak at number 16. Just like everywhere else in the US, it had a fast rise and for some reason fast burn. It was a good song, but I think all the VMA news hurt it badly. It was just icing on top of the cake of Britney's life over the past few years. Which, in turn, it hurt both POM and BTI's peaks. POM peaked at #28 and BTI #22. Luckily, the past year has been a great turn around for her life and her career. Two number ones, another top 10, and another top 40. Tomorrow she'll get another top 40. She's definitely been doing much better.
It would have been nice for "3" to debut in the top 40, because it would have been that much closer to eventually going recurrent by dropping out of the top 20 after 20 weeks, which is always impressive for a song. But hopefully it will be major hit and do that anyways!

One of my friends knows how the Pricella(sp?), BTW. I will let him know of her success! Anyways, the success of "3" is so ****ing amazing. I'm just hoping it continues to spike up the charts. Also awesome to see how "Womanizer" was burning the competition with that +1700 bullet in it's first week too
