Last night while I was handing out candy to the trick or treaters, I noticed that a lot of them were not saying "Trick or treat" when I was handing out candy. Or if they did say it, they didn't say thank you. There were some that did it thankfully, but not all. I've been handing out the candy since I started college. But this year is when I noticed that a lot of kids weren't saying it.
Did anyone else encounter this problem? And if so, do you think the next generation of kids are becoming more rude than the previous?
Children are innately rude and obnoxious, it's more of a parenting issue than the children's fault.
But I had people who looked older than me (I'm 20) and they're out trick or treating too. Like bitch, I'm not made of money I bought candy for the children not someone who could be in my class.
Some girl was basically just in a bikini and she had the damn nerve to ask if she could just get a "handful" of candy. I was like, hell no, you get one or two pieces but that's it. I gotta conserve for the little children.
You thinking that the generation after yours isn't wise and that the previous is... well... Just watch this video it explains all the feelings you have in this thread:
