Yeah. Usually it is just me adding bonus tracks and b-sides though. Like I've added Spotlight to Debut, Crazy for You and Gambler to LAV, all of the Who's That Girl songs plus Ain't No Big Deal to True Blue (not to mention completely restructuring that track list), added Supernatural and This Used to Be My Playground to LAP, added Goodbye to Innocence, Let Down Your Guard, Justify My Love, and Rescue Me to Erotica, added the new Something to Remember songs, Your Honesty, and I'll Remember to Bedtime Stories, added Has To Be to Ray of Light, added Cyberraga, American Pie, Time Stood Still, and Beautiful Stranger to Music, and added Celebration, It's So Cool, and Revolver to Hard Candy. I also kept Queen on Rebel Heart.

My changes to Madonna's earlier work are as follows:
1) Into the Groove and Crazy For You are on Like A Virgin now
2) The Look Of Love is on True Blue
3) Did You Do It is off Erotica and Goodbye To Innocence is on
4) Has To Be was inserted into Ray Of Light (between Did You Do It being removed from Erotica and the words "inserted into" being used at all, LLM must be having a very confusing meltdown)
5) Spanish Lesson is off Hard Candy, and Across the Sky, Animal, and Ring My Bell are on

Nice additions tbh. I'm interested by TUTBMP on LAP though, why didn't you put it on as an Erotica bonus even if it came out before the album?

I don't think we ever settled the conversation about who held the top female first week record prior to Janet Jackson's janet. album in 1993. I think Paula Abdul's Spellbound was in question, and I just found out it debuted in fifth place per Soundscan, so I'd say it's fair to assume that knocks it out of the running even if I don't have sales for it yet.
If you're just tuning in, what we had so far was that Madonna's Erotica sold 167k in its first week, and we'd yet to find another female album from the implementation of Soundscan in the Spring of 1991 to the May 1993 release of janet. that sold more copies out of the gate.
Mariah, Whitney Houston, Gloria Estefan, Reba McEntire, are all out of the running.  Honestly it would be cute to say that both Erotica and Ray Of Light were at one point, each the highest-selling opening week for a female artist.

I thought it fit the theme and sound of LAP better with that being an album where she reflects a lot on her past and her childhood. It also fits nicely between Keep It Together and Spanish Eyes.
Just like how Let Down Your Guard is actually Secret's b-side, but it fits the more sexual grooves of Erotica.

I actually just started to like True Blue! I do like how the stripped down version, it's actually become a highlight even though it's a 'sit down moment'.

Adding Across The Sky would be cute but then there'd be waaay too much JT on the album. Animal is NOT album material, and Ring My Bell is fine as a territorial bonus track, maybe a B-side to a digital single. Just delete Spanish Whet?, trim She's Not Me and Incredible by a minute each, and you have a great album.

You know, I think the same about Erotica. People were thinking they would be getting slayed by the 14 track explicit edition with Did You Do It? but then they didn't so they created the boycott on the era.
Parachute enthusiast Janet Jackson even mentioned in an interview that 'they shipped it, but it got shipped back'.

So I'm an idiot.
Earlier today I was picking up something I had ordered from a Mexican restaurant (shout-out 2  ) and while I was waiting I heard Love Profusion playing quietly on what I thought was their radio, and I got so excited, and I was thinking "I'm going to share this with the base later". Well about a minute later, I pull out my phone from my pocket while I was waiting, and it turned out that it somehow had started playing from my music library on my phone.
