Actually, this site IS filled with a bunch of run-of-the-mill gays with nothing to exactly differentiate them in any particular way, and this forum isn't novel in idea so...yes. ATRL IS generic.

Not really, but trolls that hold on to their life being messy waiting for a reply to be acknowledged or chart obsessive queens are, I mean... why can't we have a mature discussion about the topic we really love, the thing that unite us?

ATRL is the ORIGINAL pop forum. People anticipate for YEARS to sign up for a reason.
Its members aren't generic either. All united from different faves and genres.
The layout is retro and unlike the generic looking forums you see today.
So no

Yes, very generic.
We're not allowed to talk about anything controversial, sexual and just plain entertaining.
We stick to the constant bickering over lame shade that celebrities spew out on twitter and then delete.
We blindly stan for pop gurls who most of the time put out mediocre work in the grand scheme of things.
We reuse the same rehashed and stale "drags" of certain celebrities.
We obsess over "charts" and "numbers" but at the end of the day they really don't mean much, but these gurls don't understand that.
We warn posts over the most minute reasons and Mods actually give out warning points for that.
We spend so much energy in a revolving cycle over social issues (cultural appropriation, fat shaming, racism...etc) with no progress made.
The ATRL update is never happening. The term "retro" or "simple" designs is just a way to cope with that fact.
We limit the amount of people who can sign up for the site, stagnating our population. Literally the same circlejerk of users come here until we're bored. The entertaining ones leave while the stale and boring ones stay as new obnoxious 13 year olds sign up because they were notified on twitter. If server problems are preventing a site from growing then that's a really bad problem.
ATRL is so basic that the one section dedicated to personality (blogs) isn't even working due to server problems. Hell, even making friends on ATRL leads to you getting kicked off the server for hours.
Nothing interesting (site-wise) ever happens. ATRL is just a collection of basic gays with no life experience just being extra because they think it's cute but it's not.
P.S - Basic sites tend to have terrible mobile versions, but ATRL's mobile site is a sin against humanity..

Yes it is, mostly because how easy you can get warning points for pointless stuff. You cant even say anything negative without gettin reported. Its pathetic.
