No, FF5 is. Boring characters. Predictable plot. Lame super villain. Such a downgrade from FF4. And FF Tactics did the whole job customization thing better. The only redeeming thing was Gilgamesh.
Not when Final Fantasy 13 exists. Even its sequels are better than the original.

I said 2 of the best not the best two (though I don't agree that X and XII are the best two games) because those two games precede and succeed FF 8 which kind of makes FF 8 seem worst than it actually is because it's a great game. I love both FF X and XII too.
