News: Russian Military Shockingly More Powerful Than Anticipated

The explosion from these high-powered weapons triggers a wave of heat 1000°C which burns all of the oxygen nearby, leaving victims unable to breathe.

When the Caspian Sea fleet got involved in the conflict, ships fired huge cruise missiles into the Middle-East which travelled about 1500km.

US analyst for Brookings Institution Garrett Campbell said this was a "previously unknown capability".

Mr Cambell said if Russia can maintain an air campaign of this level it would be an impressive feat.

"Almost none of our NATO allies could match what Russia has done so far in the skies," he said.

That's why we work together.. Together we're more powerful than Russia. Most NATO members are in Europe which are all fairly small countries while Russia is the biggest on earth.

Anyway hope they can put an end to this war since the US cant

Size geographically isn't a big factor here. Population wise, Russia is the equivalent of France + UK.
Russia is also much poorer and hasn't been known to be investing as much in the military these few decades. As recently as last year, U.S. intelligence assumed most of the Russian ships were busy rusting.

Size means nothing. Isreal is small but has one of the most powerful militaries in the world.

Syria is a proxy Cold War style issue going on with the US and Russia. Both are involved for their own benefits.
