It should have been like that from the start. I have no idea why they didn't give her the last pre chorus.
Their vocals are clearer here, it seems that backing track was put to max on the televised version

I love these girls but wtf was this?
The chorus after Normani's part....I can't.
Then them turning up the backtrack after Ally's part for the chorus.
Lauren sounding the best when it's not really even her part
Them being all of out breath. Mess
Lauren is my favorite and all but at this point Ally is about to surpass her in terms of dancing.
