Ariana praises Katy: "She took me under her wing"

Katy was very nice to me when I first put out music, she sort of, like, took me under her wing and was like, 'Hey, if you ever need anything, I can totally be here for you.' She was very welcoming and wonderful, and it was so crazy because I went to her show at the Staples centre a couple of years ago. I was totally inspired by it, I was like 'wow, I wanna do this one day.'
Just three years later, I had my own show there and she came and she held my hand in the prayer circle, and she was there and she was like 'You were here a few years ago watching me and now I'm here watching you, you're going to kill it.' She's always been really supportive and that's very surreal.
[It's rare]. It's really nice, it's always so nice to meet somebody to meet somebody who is so successful and so humble and down to earth, generous and welcoming.
