It really depends on what you are doing tbh, Mahalu is an excellent sub for when you don't need Rhoa's Earth/Lighting buffs + she gives an Atk buff as well as BC/HC so!
Duran is still iffy from me, I don't know where to use him, he's found some use in the earth FG but????

Avant - Strongest offensive LS in the game. But Gazia makes him useless outside of his LS and with Zedus's LS not being too far from his, loses much of his relevance in GL because hes not as slot efficient as Zedus. A lot of the more experienced players are in agreement that Avant is overhyped because of the meta units used in GL.
