Overall, though, I'd give the honor to Dracula. Not only is his name synonymous with the vampire, one of the most enduring creatures in horror history, but his portrayal by Bela Lugosi in the classic 1931 film has been imitated, parodied and recreated by just about everyone. Even little kids can recognize that heavy Romanian accent anywhere.
