The editing makes it confusing but.. When Annalise is calling him its present. They're discussing Rebecca, as you see the decomposing hand when he's unloading her from the sack.
The flash forward is being intertwined with him laying the Asian sis out in the woods as well, referencing back to the opening of her in passed out in the backseat of his car.
Not sure yet how they're related besides maybe it's the same spot he laid Rebecca out at.
