I'm not surprised lots of people don't enjoy Hotel. The show became very popular right during Coven, and it was nothing like the first two seasons. Hotel, at least to me, looks similar to MH I'm satisfied so far.
This is true. Scream Queens seems like it was made for Coven fans so that Ryan could get back to AHS. Hotel is similar to the first two seasons, so far.
I also think depending on how people watched the last seasons may influence their perception of Hotel. If you binged watched MH or Asylum on Netflix then Hotel might seem a little off because the story is incomplete - as is the case MH or Asylum if one were to watch them week by week.
'This season' trailer included scenes only from first five episodes, I think. Really excited for 'Room 33'. Hopefully it won't disappoint as this week's episode which title was promising
This episode was kinda dumb Alex is literally the stupidest character in the history of this show. She found her son seemingly unaged, in a random hotel, and didn't take him to the hospital/call the police/tell her husband. Then she takes his temperature and he's like, dead-levels of cold and she just gets him some juice. Then he eats the dog & she takes him back to where she found him. Like, wtf?
Then instead of calling the police or something she immediately decides to become a vampire to stay with him.. like I thought the Harmons were dumb in season 1 for staying in that house but this is whole new levels
They're clearly starting to go over the top with this season & it's starting to ruin it for me.

a normal person would've flipped out and showed him their husband in a second.
also this whole ''the countess doesnt like it when someone who she turned turns someone else'' thing sounds like an unimaginative excuse for her to kill people off. (iris for example)
the story is kind of bad.
Alex is clearly not in her right state of mind. She already deals with depression and is probably on the verge of a psychotic break after realizing all this about Holden, so I don't expect rash decision making from her.
This episode was so disappointing and filler. Nothing relevant happened. They could have done so much more with the killers.
Alex being turned made me kii. This show always does too much. Watch people getting turned end up what everyone dying and getting resurrected was to Coven.

Ratings freaks on TVBTN say that AHS held really well in ratings actually considering there was a presidential debate and the World Series airing at the same time
I really think that ratings are stabilizing because episodes' runtime finally got shorter. And if Hotel won't turn into utter ****, it's safe to say that ratings will stay like that which is great for a peaked show. There will be a lot more seasons if AHS manages to pull same ratings in next seasons + streams, of course

That was my concern, the first episodes were too long. It was like watching a movie of 1 hour and a half . I think next week episode will do good, and looks like it will be one of the best!
