Drake’s “Hotline Bling” has become one of the defining singles of the fall, and the rapper’s highest-charting solo hit since 2009’s “Best I Ever Had.” Drizzy dances a whole lot in the “Bling” music video, and although he might be dancing on the Grammys stage next February, it won’t be for his latest smash.
Sources have confirmed to Fuse that “Hotline Bling” was not submitted for Grammy consideration, and thus won’t be nominated in any of the major (or minor) categories this year. There are other Drake songs that were submitted — perhaps some If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late standouts, like “Energy” or “Know Yourself” — but those songs were not specified.
