Yes, they're the epitome of musical products. I know most of faves are "products" too, but they take it to a whole new level there. Acting like you don't give a **** about another person or keep putting yourself physically in danger just because you're scared you might get fired or something even worse is wrong. Supporting those kind of acts would feel like supporting some kind of slavery IN MY OPINION.
Your reasoning comes off as really disingenuous. If you were really averse to manufactured musical products, you wouldn't listen to any pop music (a lot of people don't). Clearly the manufactured thing doesn't bother you. I think the truth is that you would never listen to any non-English foreign music (or "all that stuff" as you call it) and you're using this to maintain some air of credibility. It was pretty obvious from the fact that you wanted to say something that would give you a warning point what you really mean.
For the record, not all South Korean or "all that stuff" singers are manufactured girl groups and...
Not heartless at all. What a lot of people don't understand about Korean popstars is that they train for years before getting the chance to debut and then after they debut they are controlled and pushed to do what it takes to make money. They are simply doing what they're are supposed/told to do. Had they stopped, they could have faced consequences from their company.
I know that. I was a Kpop fan in my teen years and I still stan for 2ne1. But come on, if this happened anywhere else, they would all stop in that instant. Like it's not hard to just retake or apologise for what happened. It is scary that they are pretty much like robots or slaves and can't even act for themselves. Compared to the Sistar video posted, Hyorin actually stopped to check on the girl who struggled to stand up. I'm thinking the other girl group is pretty new that's why they just carried on with performing because they're scared of their management.

The video in the op is definitely a few years old, like early 200os
Id like to think the Kpop industry has a changed a bit in that aspect but a certain video where an GG member gets dragged off the stage and only one of the other members actually stops to help comes to mind
well as performers they're trained to continue no matter what. the show must go on. She was eventually carried off so it's not like they just kicked her around.
this happens everywhere... not just in k pop. in american girl groups, in plays, in anything where there is a performance in front of an audience. you can't just stop the sow.
