School principal thrown down in cafeteria brawl


Police arrested three students for their alleged involvement in a brawl at a high school cafeteria where the principal was thrown to the floor.

Video taken of the fight Monday shows someone grab Principal Don Ross of Florin High School and sling him away. Ross appeared to be trying to break up the lunch room melee.

Ross gets up and helps restrain the person who threw him down. A school resource officer from the Sacramento Police Department steps in, and the incident begins to de-escalate.

Additional officers also arrived. Two 15-year-olds and a 13-year-old were taken into custody.

Anyone who did it (tried to grab and stop him) would've be thrown. He was pissed and determined to get to whoever he was fighting.

Was speaking to a colleague the other day how back in the day teachers used to make fun of people misbehaving in front of the whole class so it made people learn because they didn't want to look like fools in front of their mates. Wouldn't get that now days.

This kinda of **** never happened in the high school I went to.

I never said it was or even attempted to make one. What I said is true. The fact it's a principal causes it to seem worse than it is and sensationalized it. He would've thrown anyone who tried to grab him. Not excusing his actions at all. Use common sense next time rather then trying to create something out of nothing.

This happened to a security guard at my high school.

I dont think he intentionally tried to slam hiim , he was in rage and I'm sure the same thing would of happened to whoever stood in his way. People forget things when they're fighting and adrenaline is involved .
