I really have no idea why Halsey is doing so well at the moment. There are so many artists like her who are so much better. She has a handful of good songs on her mediocre album, but they could be so much better if they were sung/rewritten by other artists. I regularly cringe at her lyrics and her voice is just meh. I don't care if this post gets reported or not. I'm just amazed at why this girl is having success while there are other artists are just simply better. Why listen to 'New Americana' while you can listen to 'National Anthem'. She's just a knock-off, both her music and her "personality".
