Just from a fellow contestant standpoint, I like what you have; it seems to fit the challenge description, how I take it anyway, and sets up the atmosphere of the show.
The only thing that took me out of the overall mood, was the opening sentence. I wish I knew who Ingrid was speaking with. I know you set it up with in your intro, but it might be nice for Ingrid to address Morgan directly especially since Ingrid references Morgan's mom.
There was also a missing word or two that I added in bold in my post. I hope you don't mind
