ABC confuses Priyanka Chopra with another Indian actress

Priyanka Chopra is well on her way to becoming a huge star here in America thanks to her new hit show, "Quantico."
The 33-year-old's face has become pretty hard to avoid these days, thanks to the fact that it's plastered on billboards everywhere. But apparently the folks at ABC, the network airing the drama, still don't know who she is.
While promoting the the new series and its star on Nightine, the network confused Chopra with another Indian actress, Yukta Mookhey. As one Twitter user pointed out, the show used footage of Mookhey while talking about Chopra.
Even new fans were confused pointing out that the woman shown in the segment was a totally different person.
But luckily for ABC, Chopra had a pretty good sense of humor about the mishap. The actress quoted a tweet, adding a simple, "Lol!"
Since realizing their mistake, ABC has apologized to Chopra and corrected the error.

I don't blame them, I mean, at first I thought she was an india blogger with an ATRL account, then I thought she was the Sense8 actress and then I found out about Tropico, but it was actually called Quantico

Priyanka Chopra and Tina Desai (Sense8) don't even look alike.
This reminds me of another ATRL user who claimed that Hannah Simone (New Girl) looked just like Priyanka Chopra just because Hannah is half Indian.

This doesn't really make make sense. Nightline isn't some random person stumbling onto her. They're a news show on the same network as Quantico and they interviewed her. Also, the actress they accidentally used isn't some famous person on another American TV show. They used the wrong Miss World winner.

Exactly. I don't know why the person above is acting like a news program is a person on the Internet first hearing of her. Besides, she's been on Nightline before back in 2013.
In any case, Priyanka and Yukta won Miss World back to back in 1999 and 2000 so it's probably just some intern who used the wrong footage by accident.

I honestly cannot stop laughing at the randomness of this and how he or she just concludes with a simple "I hate her."
