I really hope Selena can pull off some good numbers. I feel like Hollywood Records doesn't promote their artists as much anymore, they used to have disney star music videos playing ALL the time, now I hardly see them or only late at night!

I hope she gets at least 60k!
Really?
Everytime I change the channels and go to Disney Channel, there would be Selena in "Falling Down" or a commerical of her release party right on the TV. Sis, that's way too much.
And Madonna in the US... i don't really know, 80-90k? #3 is my bet.
And worldwide i don't know because Madonna will debut this friday... and the album will be out tomorrow in the US.
Does anybody knows if this will count on the world chart for the first week?
paramore...madonna is part of the past already although she's the queen of pop but that was before... mariah carey made a lot of albums already....give a chance for paramore.....
Memoirs... pushed back again in UK? It's pretty obvious that there is no interest in Mariah whatsoever. And on the same day as Leona?.. Just quit it MC! As of this album she can seriously depend only on sales in the States.
What a hater.
"Obsessed" did nothing in the UK whereas "IWTKWLI" has been getting rave reviews in that country. It's being released October 26th there with the album a couple weeks later. There's plenty of interest in Mariah. You will be proved wrong very quickly once this 2nd single really begins blowing up.
I think the fact that Madonna is releasing a greatest hits might actually help her!
People that don't like her current music but love her stuff from the 80s might be tempted to pick up a copy of Celebration on a whim, whereas the same people might not have been willing to take a chance on new music from her. I feel like people are a bit nostalgic for 80s pop after Michael passed away, and that could help Madonna.

I hate Memoirs..., not MC. "IWTKWLI" will go Top 10 in the UK because it'll be *****d by The X Factor, but besides that Memoirs... will not have any big impact on the charts. I wish Mariah the best but having Tricky Stewart and The-Dream involved on the whole album isn't a good sign to me.

Breaking Benjamin will be a force to be wreckon with. Their last album debuted at #2 with 131,000 copies sold in their first week. Alice in Chains may also do 100k+
I think Madonna has got worldwide easily, but we will have an interesting race in the US. I cannot say I'd be surprised if anything happened (except Heidi of course ). That is my unbiased analyis. If you want my biased analysis, well then...yeah you know.....

Well you just said no one has interest in MARIAH, and for her stop trying with the Leona release. As if she said "Hey, I want to compete with Leona Lewis"
The UK release date for MOAIA has been pushed back to November 16th, same date as Leona Lewis new album.
The album's first single suffers everywhere in the world. It hit the top10 in only 2 countries. USA(no7) and Italy(no6) and it has already collapsed in each and every market except for the US. In the Uk the song peak at no52.

Im hoping IWKWL will save the album. I feel the Europeans are going to dig this.
