Even if it was released in this sales climate, it would've still outsold both her albums combined because 1.2 million US / 2.4 million WW isn't enough to get the top-selling album of the year in any year.

K pop and J Pop ******** is completely and utterly irrelevant. Literally nobody cares about either genere outside those 2 asian countries.

Sales have died drastically since the 1990 hence why Moo her last album failed to sell 300k. Ariana was still seen by many as a nickelodeon act when she released both of these album not to say her sales will increase but you must take all of this into consideration.
