Social policies will be still in the pits, against in-vitro, same sex marriages, abortion. But also against the big influence of Brussels which is a hot topic now when it comes to accepting refugees.

I don't think it will affect our everyday lives in general, as usually probably. But this mean also no for same sex marriage, legal abortion, more money to church etc for next 5 years probably.

He can still make it. The results are from the exit polls. The definitive results will be there tomorrow after 18.00h. If he makes it above 5.0% he's still in.

It's not like we have any better option. We had a "non-conservative" ruling for 8 years and we still didn't get same sex marriages or abortions legalized. The only thing that we got is an European act against violence against women and it changed basically nothing.

PiS is at least against the migrants and privatization of well-prospering state ownership. I'm also pissed about their excessive relationship with the church or their policy of intolerance but I've chosen the lesser evil. I don't really want to have to emigrate from my country and leave my family behind This is my home

These were probably main and only reasons PiS won. And yeah, personally i don't think PO would legalize same sex marriage or legal abortion or marijuana anyway

At the ignorant posters saying "Poland-I dont know ha" when far more "irrelevant" countries can have great international impact based on who is in charge i.e. Serbia

The migrant crisis broke after Andrzej Duda was chosen. PiS won mainly because PO has disregarded them at first and thought that the policy of scaring the nation with Kaczynski will be enough for Komorowski to win presidential elections. Then the domino effect happened. Also Poles were very disappointed with the increasement of retirement age, privatization of well-prospering state properties and the fact that so many young, educated people leave the country while Tusk had been promising us a second Ireland.

Actually scaring the nation with Kaczynski was the only reason why PO won second cadence.

The hunties better flee from Poland.

I think these votes were more an anti PO vote then a pro PiS vote. However if PiS does not need any other party to govern they can't blame anyone else this time
