Having lived here long enough... the weather is fine. Winters here aren't as bad as anyone makes it out to be. Some of the snowfall is insane, but not in a way that's unmanageable or makes it impossible to live . Once you live here for a few years the snow is nothing

You can't speak for all of Canada, the weather varies. For example, places like Montreal are a lot colder because it's surrounded by water; meanwhile, if you drive a few hours south, it's going to be completely different. I would definitely agree that the weather is unpredictable, especially winters.
