yeah pretty much, i'd say selena is probably a bit more relevant as a celebrity but in terms of music they seem to be on the same level. neither is much bigger than the other.
peaking 1 or 2 positions higher or selling 10k more doesn't really mean anything. it's not like 1 of them is doing 200k 1st week and the other 50k (in the US, obviously in some countries a 10k difference could be huge)
Demi is only bigger in the UK and Brazil.
