it's not really the same situation..21 came out at a time where most mainstream female pop artists were highly sexualised and giving us a 'more is more' approach.
adele's image and sound was refreshing for a female pop artist at the time, so people used it to pick at the other pop girl's flaws which obviously affected some more than others.

I literally don't understand why you people have to drag everyone and their mamas when someone is successful. Taylor has just had extremely successful era, and Adele is looking to do the same. They really aren't that similar, so shut up and sit down
