Nadia isn't gay per say, she transitioned based on reasons of sex. Laverne is gay, she identifies for gender. Dame Edna (Barry) is a straight man, dressed as a woman. Ru Paul is a gay man who dresses flamboyantly as a means of expression.

Conchita Wurst is a Drag Queen, but uses both pronouns in respect of whether she's not in drag. In which case, he's Tom.

Yes, Dame Edna is a character. Ru is himself. I'm unsure whether he uses the "she" pronoun when he's in drag, but idt so.

Nadia was like, expressing emotions of wanting female sexual organs. Whereas a woman like Laverne feels more embraced by both being a woman, and incorporating her sexuality. Nadia, it was physical; Laverne, emotional. Idk if that makes sense.

I think what I'm starting to understand is a transgender is someone who changed their gender but is still biologically their original sex. While a transsexual changed both their gender and their sexual organs from male to female or vise versa. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
