Music News: Taylor Swift sets yet another music record!

Another day, another music industry accomplishment for Taylor Swift.

"Billboard" announced today that “You Belong With Me,” the County native’s newest single from her multi-platinum album “Fearless", has hit No. 1 on the magazine’s Radio Songs/Hot 100 Airplay chart.

It’s the first country single to hit that mark in the 19-year history of the chart’s use of Nielsen BDS-monitored data, Billboard said. The data showed an audience of 117 million for "You Belong With Me" this week to beat out Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling," according to the magazine.

“You Belong With Me” also leapt back up the Hot 100 singles sales chart, from No. 6 to No. 4, Billboard said. The song is the fourth from “Fearless” to hit the Top 10. "Change," "Love Story” and "Fearless" also hit and two others just missed: "You're Not Sorry" (No. 11) and "White Horse" (No. 13).

And now a fifth song from the disc, “Fifteen,” is at No. 16 on the Country Singles chart, up a whopping nine positions from last week, four weeks after its release.

“Fearless” also returned to the top of the Country Albums chart after being temporarily replaced by Brooks & Dunn’s greatest-hits package “#1s … And Then Some.” By returning to No. 1, “Fearless” now has logged 24 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the country album chart.

“Fearless” also jumped back up the Hot 200 chart, from No. 10 to No. 8, in its 45th week on the charts.

Swift announced this week she’ll re-release “Fearless” with six new songs on Oct. 27.

Whether “You Belong With Me” benefitted from publicity of its winning the MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video a week ago is anyone’s guess.

But we’re waiting for Kanye West to now jump into the editor’s office of Billboard to say Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” is one of the greatest singles of all time and should be at No. 1 instead.

Beyonce wishes she could sell as many albums as Taylor and have soo many weeks in the Top 10.

Plus, outselling arenas within minutes of release like the Staples Center (she broke a record doing that as well!).

And we all know she sells that much because she is pop-country but she labels herself country, and we all know country singers sell wayyy tew much, even if they didn't have a single hit in their album
