Not only do our kids appropriate black culture, but they know lyrics to a song about making and dealing crack cocaine. So like the title says, does this worry you?

Why are we acting like kids never knew the lyrics to suggestive songs in the past?

and it's not like they truly understand what the song is saying if they're that young. like do you think kids heard lollipop by lil wayne back in like 2008 or whenever it was popular and bopped to it because of the meaning? and obviously there's endless examples way before 2008 but this just popped in my head

No, but I'm a POC and I find stuff like this really cringey and it also kind of makes me sad to see the slow bastardization of Hip-Hop culture. I was being half-serious though.
I'm more concerned about the tragic vines they're being subjected to.
