It's not that much different than the remixes that Take Me To Church, All Of Me, Somebody That I Used To Know, and The Hanging Tree got. Pop radio, at least the stations in my area did play those remixes over the originals. I mean yeah most of those were from last year, but still I hear the remixes for those songs (well for all of the ones that are not The Hanging Tree) regularly.
