Good for him, he comes off as such a genuinely good and caring person. People change their ideals and opinions over time, he was in the beginning of his fame when he said he didnt want to be a spokesperson for gays, but as his success maintained and he travelled the world I think he realized how real it is out there and how important it is to speak out against these issues.

Im glad that we finally have a musician who is selling millions, touring the world and winning Grammys all while being openly gay, he is someone for younger gay people to look up to.
