It's a tv special, which are almost always overlooked, and something as classic as this and loved by so many, and really has a colt following, is probably left untouched, so they both most likely made the right decision. But I'm glad she is getting offered roles, and it would've been interesting, but Laverne will be an interesting twist!
Congrats to Laverne but Rocky doesn't need a remake.
This, it's one of the iconic classic movies that shouldn't be touched. Good that Gaga was offered the role, but I'm glad she turned it down because she would of gotten her lashings (because I'm 95% sure it's going to suck).
Laverne is a wooden actress, at least on OITNB, she's easily overshadowed by characters with minor roles. I don't see the point of a re-make. The original is a cult, iconic classic.
