Her sales were extremely front loaded
I mean if we take in the last part of the TFM era than ya Gaga has the edge, but both the TD and Loud era's were certainly bigger than the BTW era

We are not talking about eras here.
Lady Gaga in 2011 and 2012 was bigger htan Rihanna and Katy. As simple as that.
In 2011 Gaga sold more albums than Katy and Rih combined.
On top of that go check google trends and do I need to mention again Forbes and so on... Katy and Rih got a few number 1s, whereas Adele was the "Anti Gaga" for a reason.
Adele might have been a reality check for Gaga to show her talent more, but that's where it ends
