So a show is planning to kill off a co-lead in their upcoming fall finale.

What we know is:
- An established drama series
- 1 hour long show
- Important character (obviously)
- Might not be permanently killed off, but fans will definitely be thinking that at the end of the episode.
- It's a popular show on TVline

So ATRL who do you think it is (or hope it is)?

My choices are either How to Get Away with Murder (they're not killing Viola though), Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, Castle, or Arrow. One that was suggested in the comments on TVLine was Vampire Diaries too

Viola Davis is not a co-lead, she's practically the show, so idk if it's HTGAWM

Yeah the only reason I wouldn't think it is HTGAWM. Is because I consider Viola Davis as the lead and everyone else as a supporting character. It would go with the shows theme to kill off one of the supporting characters (aka anyone not Viola)

That's what's making me think it might not be HTGAWM, but still...it could be anything

They should kill Viola. She already got her emmy and it would make the show less boring.

I don't think it's HTGAWM because of reasons already said.

No one is safe in Whedonverse but I'm not sure who they could even kill in Agent's of Shield. Hunter and Bobbie are safe because of spin off, Coulson is safe as director, Fitz and Simmons have both gone through enough this season I don't see them killing off one or the other at the moment, and Daisy/Skye is way too important to the story and the entire MCU to kill off.

We already know someone of importance will die on Arrow based on the last episodes Flash-foward but the person speculated Captain Lance I don't think is a big enough deal for them to make an article about.



I don't watch the other shows but I think Agent's of SHIELD, Arrow, and HTGAWM are out of the running for this.
