I'd be more excited for this if it was HBO or Netflix but they will never find anyone that'll do Kathryn and Sebastian justice. Ryan and Sarah had the perfect mix of sexiness, chemistry, and animosity.

I loved the movie but I don't know if they're going to be able to do it justice. Plus, the 90s aesthetic of the film is one of the main reasons it's so good, so removing this is probably gonna make the show worse

But more importantly, I think it could have some potentiel by making a one season series on Netflix BUT more based on the MESSY BOOK Les liaisons dangereuses by Laclos ( I don't know the name of the book in English) to be able to have it own spot in some way

I mean , they could keep that aristochrical atmosphere ( stay in 18's ) like in the book or transpose it in the 21th century ( like letters be sms,insta,... ) BUT not all the characters are in high school, but a real gap between characters like in the book.
Maybe not having Cecile 15-16 years old ( more 18-19) it would be more juicy and more interesting than ever
