Discussion: Beyoncé movie career stopped. Why ?

She was building a pretty decent career in Hollywood tbh and she said back in 2006 that she want to win an Oscar one day so i was wondering why her cinematographic career just stopped after Obsessed when she doing almost 1 movie per year in the 2000's and was even nominated for Golden Globes of Best Actress for Dreamgirls ?

She was supposed to be in A Star Is Born remake. What happened to that project ?

She jumped out of A Star is Born because the project was taking too long to get moving and she was entering into 2013, when she had no time to film, obviously

She did voice work in Epic in 2013. I'm sure if she has time she'll do something again soon. She usually does a movie with each new ERA

She was getting better. From her early movies to the last ones she improves alot.

I think a lot of her work/life balance and priorities shifted a bit after Blue; she doesn't work as much as she did and all her energy and time goes into the music end when she does now.

hummm, no. This project is cursed. Many artists were attached to this remake before beyonce, including JLo and Will Smith. But I guess Barbra told God to not allow anybody to recreate this masterpiece.
