Are you pre-hype Adele fan or a post-hype Adele fan? I think since we pre-hype fans heard the live version first on Jools Holland, we like that version better. Post-hype fans tend to like the album version and think the live version is weird. I absolutely hate that falsetto she does on the "don't forget me, I beg" on the album version. Almost ruined the song for me.

Really like the album but the sound quality pisses me off, especially with Someone Like You and Set Fire to the Rain.

She hates the album version too and only included it because the final version had strings, etc and she preferred the simpleness of the piano version. She hated the high notes part though and did it because Dan Wilson suggested it.

I really wish she would have done a last minute re-record of it instead of including the demo.

I don't have a problem with the falsetto in the studio demo so much as it feels a bit too fast. Live, especially at the RAFH or when she did it with the acoustic intro earlier in the Adele Live tour, though
