It wasn't that awful. It certainly wasn't a "Perfume" sized flop. It was a top 40 hit and is VEVO certified; it could have been a lot worse. Plus, because it underperformed, it seems like Britney is now doing what she want to do in the studio and working with who she wants to work with instead of her team forcing her to chase hits.
