Nicki has four-million selling smashes like Super Bass and Starships and has never had a #1. She came close with viral-sensation Anaconda but was ultimately blocked by the power of Taylor Swift.
Drake, on the other hand, has a #1 (as a featured act with Rihanna on "What's My Name?" which was bound to go #1 with or without his verse), and has also notched #2 hits like Nicki, but with the release of Hotline Bling's music video today and the hype of The Weeknd's Eminem and Nicki Minaj remixes of The Hills, Drake is almost a sure bet for #1 on next week's Hot 100.
Why will he send a solo rap song to #1 on the Hot 100 before Nicki? Especially since she had the advantage with catchy, poppy songs like Starships and Super Bass...
