Thanks for the link! I don't understand why they push White Lightning so much.. It's a decent song, but it's not one of my favorites, honestly. The video is great, and the stage performance is good..but not something that would make me want to go and learn more about them. I agree that their showcase performance should be Love Blind. They perform it well, it has choreography, it's not too vocally demanding, and the song is one of the standouts on the album and is more accessible to the general public than White Lightning, IMO.

I really don't know why they don't push You Got Me more than they do.. It's obviously the fan favorite and they know it. Maybe they're waiting for their show to come out before they push that as their single? Also, it was interesting that Aubrey mentioned that they record music on the tour bus. Not taking it too seriously though; it's probably just Aubrey being Aubrey making things seem bigger than they are. lol I've learned her game after all these years. lol

I feel like they think WL is so alt compared to DK. They should do Dreamsicle or YGM but sonically it's still very pop which was DK. That's the only reason why I can see WL being the focus.

I thought the recording on the bus comment was interesting too. They mentioned to me during an interview for my site that they have two extra tracks that were supposed to be for international release, but not sure what happened with that. Aubrey said it was possible their distribution deal wouldn't allow that.

Ideally, when would you guys like to see new music?

I think they should drop an EP or free mixtape in January, followed by a dates for a new tour. Then release a new album in April.

early next summer for new music. I think they need to hop on another tour this winter/spring to get more exposure.

Their streaming numbers are pretty impressive on Spotify considering they had no ads and were not even featured on their new music Friday playlist.

I'm not expecting anything new until the second half of 2016...

This album is amazing.

This surprises me. I think they should because why not? There's only 3-4 songs that need a visual. Aubrey gave the impression in the NYC M&G that they were done with videos.

I agree with everyone. I say new music in the spring (they did get the music done for this album pretty early according to the chats I had with them), but hustle for new tour dates/supporting slot for the new year.

I agree. New music in spring. They could have some moderate summer hits but need to release before then.

They didn't do Take Away in Boston or I would've taped it

They said they had a problem with manufacturing on Twitter and that it'll be going out soon. This was over the weekend I think.
