Pop artists look really stupid when they lip sync, but if they do something like choreography, they at least try to distract the viewer. But bands are entirely different. When they don't sing live, not only do they look incredibly awkward and forced, but they look like complete ******* as well. Part of the rock performance experience is hearing how much more intense music gets when it's out of the studio.
I'm sure they just either turned down the amp or didn't even bother to plug in the guitar, that's easy enough. But what about the drummer? It looked like he wasn't even attempting to make contact with the drums, just flailing the sticks in the air.
The only thing this performance was memorable for was how ridiculous rock artists look when they lip sync.
) They're smart.
