Hey Guys, i just wanna introduce a relatively new Australian singer, fresh from the Idol stakes. She's already had 5 Top 20 singles and this is her new club-banger single "Up/Down". It's awesome.

Love this song so much. Her and her videos have come a long way. I remember seeing her audition, and she was quite pudgy and just an average Aussie teen. And her first video was quite boring, with her hand-raping a rail overlooking Melbourne. But she's obviously trying to conform to the "perfect pop" image, and I hope she continues the success 'cause she makes great music and she's lookin' quite fine now. I've read some articles where she's described as "Australia's Budget Beyonce".

If any Australian Idol has what it takes to make it outside of Australia, it's her.

I think 'Running Back' could Hit Billboard Hot 100 if proper promotion was done. Jessica has a real international flavour and could do wonders!!!!!!!!!!

I think she needs to prop up on her image and make her videos with more of a story, something different rather than just dancing in a club. If you get my jist.

this is pretty good and would probly make a impact if they rework the song a bit to make it less repetitive and edit out/replace flo rida wack ass verse. the video is also really good. i like how it perfectly expresses the overall feel of the song even if all she does is "hand-raping a rail overlooking Melbourne" when i hear the song a slow dark cold depressing night is what comes in my head.

btw what is she white, black or mixed??

She is half indonesian-half Aboriginal (Black Australian). She should work her songs in America. I agree with you on the part where you said alot of her songs are repetitive. Especially "Been Waiting".

been waiting is iight couldnt make it through the whole video though cause the **** was boring and the song is a bit cheesy and the message has already been raped to death like 30 years ago. she's cute though reminds me of a less morbidly obese version of jordan sparks

I know i know. Been waiting was a horrible song and didn't deserve to be a single.
Black Australians? Um...of course they were here before the English..
