I remember when all those "tribal" pics came out...that would of been a stunning concept for a music era. Perhaps that, and the "Freda Carlo" pics were scrapped ideas for the concept of the album that eventually would be titled ANTi?

Unlikely. W use of tribal theme was the work of Edward Enninful. Paolo Roversi did the R8 promo pics in Paris (his style of photography is purposely reminiscent of paintings) ..theres no connection between them.

But i do think Rihanna has strategically been doing more artistic shoots in both fashion/music magazines in comparison to ones she did during UNA era. She's going back to her Rated R days with attention to visuals.
