We have no idea when Adele is going to release and how well Adele's new music is going to do.
She could even drop the single the week with Ariana
Quote:
The long-awaited return of XL/Columbia’s Adele is slated for 11/20, and is naturally expected to have a seismic impact on the remainder of the year. Expect the leadoff single to drop in the first or second week of November.

My final predictions. Not too different from Ger, but after the top 10 we disagree on quite a few songs and I think Stitches will have the slight edge over WD.

Given the hype she will debut at number one for sure. No doubt about that.
I know that article, but I believe it when I see it. And what hype? We have no idea if the GP will care about new Adele music or if she has established a fanbase with 21. Could also have been casual people just liking the album and not Adele. A #1 is totally possible no question, but I don't see it as guaranteed.

Ummm...Trust me it will be a Norah Jones situation..minus the number one singles...Her lead single Sunrise shot to number one in iTunes in 2004. and the album opened with a million. How much more with Adele...whos name became a household already.
