So excited for the Spring semester!! My classes are going to be super fun, I love being a Theatre major!!

We had a lockdown today for about half an hour because of some reported gunman in a neighboring school. Thankfully nothing happened, but please can this stop? :/

Civil Engineering. I thought I was pretty good at math until Calculus Same with Physics. It's actually pretty interesting to me but all the calculations, formulas, etc... it's just TOO MUCH. Both classes are just so math-intensive and I'm over it.

I'm actually really good at writing essays and whatnot even though I find it so boring. I like working on the computer and inputting data, looking info up, stuff like that. A lot of people find those "office" jobs boring but I feel like I would be perfect doing that. None of my classes have anything to do with that, just calculations for hours and hours. Every single one.

I really wanna get into the more business side of engineering anyway, which makes me question if I even really need the degree for it. I mainly picked it because I knew they made a lot of money right out of school and you'll always have job opportunities, or at least that's what's everyone has told me (including recent graduates).

It's seriously making me reconsider pre-med, and it'll only get worse I'm mad because I'll probably get a B and I'm trying to keep my GPA as high as possible so I can transfer the **** out of here and hopefully get into Northwestern, Columbia, maybe NYU Tisch... I just need to be in a real city.

I haven't been to lecture since last Wednesday my professor is Belgian and when he's not expressing his disappointment about our test scores, he's basically regurgitating info from the book.

This semester is kicking my ass already and I'm only 3 weeks in.

I have to make it all the way to Thanksgiving without a break.

And I'm already kind of over it.

This physiology class is a mess. I had great study habits for the first exam, but my professor low balled the difficulty of the test so that "too many students wouldn't get discouraged later on in the semester."

It's given me a false sense of security so I haven't been as diligent. Kind of annoyed he did this.

The class is super fascinating, though! We had a graduate student give cover the digestive system yesterday, and she spent the last ten minutes discussing the microfloral community of the GI tract.

The fact that these microorganisms outnumber the body's eukaryotic cells ten to one. And the presence of specific types have even shown the ability to improve autistic-like issues in laboratory mice.

Maybe in twenty years we'll be taking medication to alter the bacteria in our gut and fight disease and illness that way. Super interesting!

Also, anybody else going into pharmacy?

This fat bitch at my work study says I never do anything. I don't get why this hog is giving me **** when I literally walk in & ask "is there anything to do?" and she replies "no," all the time since 20 other people in the office have already done everything hours before. I only work 4 hours a week.

Drawing Geometry is KILLING me. Thank God I only have it for one semester.

I'm 50000000% done with Accounting. This class is so damn frustrating. The online labs never tell you what your doing wrong, just that your wrong. How am I suppose to learn?

All of the online quizzes throw in all these trick questions to confuse us on purpose. Also the next time I see "none of the above the correct answer is____" is on a test I'mma...

I'm a freshman and I love it way more than high school tbh.

Same for Monday and Wednesday luckily I have Thursday off tho and Tuesday at 4:30.

But I have so much reading to do already they wasted no time throwing books at us

Calc is the only class I'm scared of not getting an A in, but it's honestly such fun material so imma be mad at myself if I don't study enough
